I remember an old friend of mine use to love Starbucks across the road from here. I use to wave to him from the window of here while he was in Starbucks.

Yes. It's that close. I always liked Starbucks coffee, but loved the food better in here. I'm sitting here with a White Americano, extra strong. It's yucky because I wanted it strong:) cups look great, with a built in plastic stir thing.

Coffees are miles smaller Than Starbucks. It's a nice good size. I don't see any sockets. The place looks really clean. And you can just watch the world go past.

It cost me £2.05 and I was served by a lovely smiling "Zoe H"
I'm having fun watching 2 Glasgow City council staff pretending to work, looking at a Motorbike:)

Very nice location. Near shops and GCU so very easy access for anyone looking for a nice quick meal, snack, or coffee.

I ordered a cappuccino as they don't serve iced coffee. The coffee was good, not spectacular, but worth the £2.35. I also got a vegetarian wrap and it was amazing!! I would definitely go back to get another one.

They have a wide variety of baked goods, sandwiches, salads, soups and juices as well.

I ate in and boy was it crowded. The tables were so pushed together if I moved a little I would be rubbing elbows with someone else. All the customers were super polite though.

    They also offer free wi-fi.

First time I've bought my lunch from here and got to say I really enjoyed it! I went for the chicken, pesto and buffala mozzarella salad. It was really fresh and the flavours were really tasty. Even at lunch time my friend and I managed to find a table, but as always this place is really busy. I really enjoyed my lunch, but it is rather expensive and not somewhere I could eat at every day. All in all though I will definitely be back and am going to try the tuna salad next time. My friend went for the Tuscan bean soup and it smelled amazing.

Some days a warm Swedish meatball wrap is what's needed on a cold afternoon.

Being on Sauchiehall St, this one is pretty busy. But the service is swift and the staff manage to keep it tidy, just don't expect a table during the lunchtime rush.

Coffee is good and ground in store. And try the coconut macaroons - expensive at £2.50 for a small bag of six, but so tasty!

While there's no shortage of sandwich shops at this end of town, this one is a pretty decent. With Pret the quality is consistent across its UK branches, I've never been sure how they manage this.

I find myself in here a little too often - mainly on the way to college on the days I've forgot to make lunch and need something fairly healthy! As far as a chain of sandwich/coffee shops I find it pretty good, this particular branch can be quite busy but even at busy times they still serve you quickly.

As far as the food goes I'm fairly certain they all do the same job so there's nothing individual about this one.
I used to think Pret was a little overpriced, but actually for something you know has (from what it seems anyway) fresh, good quality ingredients its not bad. I'd rather pay a few pound more for something better than your average Tesco meal deal! I think the options are quite good and they have something for everyone, from the super health conscious to someone who just wants a BLT sandwich and crisps. The hot drinks are also better value than Starbucks/Costa so its even worth stopping by for your morning coffee.

The actual decor and place itself is nothing special. I wouldn't choose to sit in, it's usually overcrowded and not the cleanest. But for a takeaway lunch that's better quality/healthier than some, it's not a bad option!
